Again, as always, apologies for scarce blogging... But today I give you.... an outfit post! Hardly an exciting outift but hey that's what I'm wearing:Handmade scarf, Zara top and jeans, Vagabond boots
Gotta run because the dog is begging to go out and making weird noises (that's why I'm laughing)
My Monday didn't start so well as I got a totally different yarn than ordered, which means one custom order will be late and I really want to finish everything before going home for christmas.
By the way, I will be accepting orders while away. Everything is explained here.
Also, a bit of Q&A:
Susan, yes the mittens are available in my shop, I'm also making them in green and petrol blue!
Belowen, Dark Angels cleanser is quite strong and meant for an oily skin so I only used it on my nose. It's a good cleanser/exfoliator but I didn't like the blackness of it as I had to clean the sink after using it. It didn't stain my face though (read some reviews that people got their skin stained!)
I also tried the Prince triple Orange Blossom shaving cream sample (on my legs, not the chin! lol) and it's nice, leaves the skin soft and moisturised but it can clog the razor blades so i would only recommend this if you're using the disposable razors.
One week left till my trip home. Getting very excited!
Happy Monday, everyone!

Thought I'd write something on the blog while sipping tea and trying to defrost...

Today I braved the cold and went to the town centre to do some shoppings and run errands... First stop was post office to send the latest order from my folksy shop (just finished it last night), then it was the bank... Hopefully I will open my etsy store asap, but not sure if it's gonna happen before christmas.. oh well.
And then as a reward for being so brave and freezing my nose off I pushed my way into the Lush store (it was so busy there). Got a couple of samples of the new 'Dark Angel' cleanser and couldn't resist buying my old favourite 'Angels on Bare Skin'.
Can you believe it's the 1st of December already?? In a couple of weeks I'll be flying back home! So excited. I need to finish organising the presents!
Here's the new mittens i'm working on right now. What do you think? :)

So so sorry for no new posts in more than a week! I've been fighting this cold that just wouldn't go away. And then I received a parcel from my mummy with loads of Lithuanian chocolates and some cool woolly yarn so I can keep knitting and other cute stuff. Thanks mum! <3

Let's do a little catch-up and see what's been happening this week:
~ I watched Twilight Saga: New Moon as soon as it was available (online, not in the cinema, bad bad me!) and it was okay. I don't understand people who say it is horrible. It's not worse than the first film! Not the movie of the year but entertaining nonetheless!
~ Researched my possibilities to study for masters degree in translating ( basically, I need to become a nerd next year). Hope I don't jinx this!
~ Was watching missed episodes of House MD and knitting. New christmas stuff is coming to my shop soon!
~ Had a dream about Alexander Skarsgard. 'Nuff said. Does Kate Bosworth have to hang out with the coolest guys on this planet or is it just me being jealous? :/

Something that is slowly becoming a sock!

Promise an outfit post soon! It's so dark these days it's getting difficult taking any kind of picture!

Has anyone managed to snag something from the Jimmy Choo for H&M collection yet? I have not because a) i'm ill. hopefully with a simple average cold and not swine flu and b) the closest H&M store that has the collection is 150 miles away in Newcastle.
Great.

But like a good shoe addict that I am, I had to check ebay and I couldn't see that many listings of the shoe I really wanted: the grey suede peep toe bootie:

picture: ebay.co.uk

if anyone has this bootie in UK6 EU39 that they don't want, you can send it to me. Thanks.
In the meantime I'll continue spending my time in bed, with tea and grapes and my knitting.
Everyone in UK, how's the storm? Here in Glasgow we don't really feel it much, I think the worst winds are in Wales?
Keep safe,

It is absolutely freezing outside and I'm sitting inside, sipping a cup of green tea with lemon and thinking about my Christmas wishlist:

It all started with MAC newsletter that I found in my email inbox. Their holiday kits look too good to pass. I quickly find my favourite: it's the Smoke and Mirrors Eye Shadow kit. I quickly do the math: there's 6 eyeshadows there + a little brush + a mirror + THE cutest packaging ever and it's only 29.50! A real make-up addict knows that one pot of MAC eyeshadow costs 11 pounds :) I swiftly mark this as my must-have. But, I start thinking, after all that Christmas shopping will I have enough money to get it? I need a back-up must-have! Mineralize Blush in Gentle (raspberry with yellow gold) sounds amazing.

My wishlist needs to have clothes... I wouldn't say no to a dark grey cashmere blend cardigan from Uniqlo or a navy +J merino wool polo neck dress. Yummm...

Ooh, I need yet another cup of tea.

And the winner is...

Laura from A Daisy Chain Dream! Congratulations Laura, I will be contacting you in the nearest future! hope you're feeling better now! I picked the winner with random.org True Random Number Generator. Lucky number 3!

I myself have been so busy and stressed out last week that all I could do this weekend was sit on the couch, eat and watch TV. Got a little hooked on The Rachel Zoe Project, The World's Strictest Parents and The Real Housewives of NYC. (I simply adore trashy tv when I'm ill)

On the other hand I finally managed to purchase myself plane tickets to Vilnus for Christmas! Woop woop!!!

Happy Halloween!

What are you guys up to today? While I was only introduced to this holiday very recently and I'm not a big fan of dressing up in costumes and stuff, I never miss a chance to sit and watch a creepy horror with some popcorn! And I have some movie suggestions:

Paranormal Activity - very good, my kind of horror! There's no or very little blood, some creepy faces and lots and lots of psychological tension! Acting is not the best but very watchable!

Saw VI - now if you like blood, guts and gore everywhere and every minute, this is the film for you! My boyfriend loves Saw films so I was dragged to cinema to watch it . Not too bad as it has a quite smart plot and a good twist at the end.

Rosemary's Baby - classic. Great great film. No gore, amazing plot and great acting!

Take your pick and have a creepy night!

I know this is very late of me but I just had to make a post about the recent McQueen's collection as it blew me away! I was one of the lucky ones to get to watch the catwalk live online and it was spectacular!
