Ahhhh new purchases... I was pissed that I missed these lovely hot pink miu miu pumps on yoox sale; they were only 79 GBP (as seen on the harlequin-inspired show) so yesterday I made my way to H&M and it really has some lovely items at the moment. Got this huge scarf (which I think is a sarong actually) and a basic grey top.

Thank you for health wishes everyone! I'm feeling fine again, only tired because studies are busting my ass. But the finish is so close!

You can clearly see darker roots in my hair... but they don't look too bad. Yet. IMO. lol. I'm back to taking pics inside at least today as the winds are crazy here. Yesterday me and the bf got caught in a sudden storm and we were very close to getting seriously hurt as the plant pots were falling down from people's verandas :D but i guess all is well that ends well!

woo new post! :D

Sorry for disappearing from blogosphere for weeks but I haven't been motivated/had nothing to tell really.
weather: too hot. I'm such a sissy, I start melting when it's warmer than 25 degrees Celsius!
mood: I had a headcold this week so i had no energy to do anything except lay on the couch and watch films. Feeling much better now!
food: salads and water. And peanut M&Ms...
drink: gallons of coffee and water
proud of myself: becoming TFS mod (so cool to be purple!) and not buying anything on sale (so far)
researching: Skincare. My skin is acting up again.. Daily Microfoliant by Dermalogica sounds amazing. Any suggestions for a good spf?
That's all for now folks, no outfit pictures because I'm staying in my PJs today.

T-Shirt from Borders & Frontiers (visit Igor+Andre blog), H&M leggings, Proenza heels
Received this yesterday :) very cute!
Feeling a bit down... A fellow Erasmus student killed herself... I never met her but it was a big shock. I wasn't even sure that I should write this on the blog.. Oh well. This is in no way meant as an advertisement of such things... they just happen and sometimes we need to talk about them... or say them out loud.
What's up with the postman leaving my parcels at my neighbours?! I never agreed to this. I'd rather go to the post-office which is open 9 to 5 and not to the people that I don't know! wtf.
And off I go, want to clean up the flat a bit and then meet my bf at the train station!! Can't wait for a lovely evening with him :)

Coma

~I overslept my class this morning. I do believe I lapsed into a coma as I don't remember the alarm going off or anything... Oh well, more time for the blog!
<- Have you heard about this? I am sooo buying it (if I can get my hands on it), I still want the Orange Fizz by Chanel but couldn't find it at my local shop.

~Also, another film recommendation: Australia. I didn't really read about it as I thought it would be some dramatic love story with Nicole Kidman... But what I didn't know was that the director of the film is Baz Luhrmann (Yup, the same guy who did Moulin Rouge! and Romeo+Juliet). Loved it!
~ I'm done with one of the projects I had to do till the end of the semester. Ditte and me have made a powerpoint presentation of the recent news in Germany and the rest of the world. It was scary because the room was full of people but it went really well and we got a positive feedback :)

Playing dress up today... Not planning on going anywhere but it's nice to try something new. Wearing this lovely skirt as a dress. The fabric was vintage, my grandma gave me it because she didn't know what to do with it and my mum made it into a skirt, which i wore only a couple of times as its a bit too long for me.

yet another sunday post

I have only 1 month left to stay Germany and I'll be off to the misty island called Great Britain... I actually kind of love living here but my German is not yet good enough to enjoy a normal life but that's okay :) I never wanted to live in Germany.
Spent this week thinking about the future and the past and actually started feeling old. I guess it's the quarter life crisis coming...
Studies are getting more difficult each day, I have a presentation on Tuesday which I dread because I hate talking in front of people... But meh I'll survive it, I have to get used to such things. This weekend the weather was smply beautiful, I went jogging early in the morning and it gave me energy for the whole day... Watched Marie Antoinette and Babel last night, loved both films... So if you haven't, watch them sometime. Bought my very first leggings (I know!), unless you count something similar that I've worn when I was 7... That's my week in a nutshell.

magic

Yesterday something amazing happened.

My classmate got married. And it's not the amazing part yet!
Let's start from the beginning... Like most of you I checked my facebook in the morning and noticed that one of my other classmates has posted something about classmates wedding. Well, I thought, it can't be anyone from my class, all the guys are still kids and girls aren't really rushing anywhere. Plus, if it was someone close, I would know! How wrong was I.
Apparently it was a guy who got married, a guy with whom I spent 12 years in school together, from the very beginning to the very end. In school he was the most childish, irresponsible and silly kid I've ever met. And he just got married. That's still not the amazing part.
Somehow, by the powers only known to this universe, all of my closest friends appeared on skype (I never see all of them on skype, no one has time) to gossip about the wedding. We are all scattered in Europe so it was an international chat. Boy did we talk! When we stopped talking about the classmate, we started chatting about guys and boyfriends in general, about other classmates and mutual friends and so on. I spent the whole Saturday talking to them (interrupted only by a short run to the supermarket). And it was amazing. You might make new friends but nothing beats good old friends and the memories we once shared! I haven't seen some girls for years and it still feels like we just saw each other last week. So some of us decided that next year we have to meet for a short vacation somewhere in southern Europe, or just go back to our homeland and spend a few nights eating pizza, drinking tequilla and gossiping till dawn.
God bless my girlfriends. Without them I wouldn't be who I am now. They have inspired me to do brave things and supported me when I felt lost.

My life is full of drama right now. Especially at the uni. All I want to do is veg out on the couch and watch House MD when I get home. Oh well, tomorrow is Friday.
I've been taking pics of my outfits every day this week, will post them all on Sunday!

The deal of the year so far! Never used Lanvin flats for 1/4 of their retail price. The leather is so soft!

This week was quite easy but I have many presentations and coursework coming which totally sucks when the weather is so amazing. Also, I'm proud to say that currently I'm a moderator trainee for TFS! Yay. Hopefully I'll become purple soon!

Laid back Friday

And new H&M linen shorts! Also, got a note saying that the postman didn't find me at home (or couldn't be bothered coming to the 5th floor) so i'll get up early tomorrow and go to the post office. wonder what managed to arrive: asos order (they already refunded me), a parcel from my bf or something else I accidentally bought on ebay :P Zara top, H&M shorts and Proenza heels
